Zelensky Accuses Trump of Pressuring Ukraine and Delaying Patriot Missiles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused US President Donald Trump of pressuring Ukraine to capitulate to Russia and of delaying deliveries of Patriot interceptor missiles. Zelensky stated in a Bloomberg interview that steps were taken to push Ukraine toward surrender, though he stopped short of confirming this as the partners' explicit goal. He also said Washington approved only partial delivery of paid-for interceptors, calling the delay a non-technical issue. The US currently supplies about 12 Patriot interceptors monthly, roughly a quarter of previous volumes under Joe Biden, and now sells them instead of providing them free. Zelensky suggested relations could improve after the November 3 midterm elections.
