Zelensky discusses next steps with Trump envoys Witkoff and Kushner
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, according to the presidential press service. During the call, they discussed the results of the Ukrainian and American teams' meeting in Florida, with Zelensky noting that next diplomatic steps are being prepared. He emphasized that peace comes through strength and trust-based cooperation, and stressed that Ukraine remains ready to work constructively for real results. Zelensky also said partners are being continuously informed about ongoing Russian strikes and Ukraine's air defense needs, adding that much depends on America's position. This follows his earlier statement that the US had resumed intelligence sharing with Ukraine after a temporary suspension.
