Ukraine lacks Starshield access, Rubio says

podrobnosti.ua (Ukrainian) —

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Ukraine currently does not have access to the military Starshield package for Starlink satellite terminals, despite Kyiv's request to use it for long-range strikes into Russia. Rubio said Ukraine had asked Washington for Starshield access, but no such access has been granted. He also denied White House involvement in limiting Starlink operations, calling reports of an order to reduce internet speeds for certain drones false. Rubio added that, according to his information, the system is working again. He also commented on easing Russian fuel export restrictions, saying President Donald Trump plans a 60-day review of sanctions and tariffs' impact on global and U.S. economies.
