Zelensky says Russia backs trilateral meeting of delegations

pravda.com.ua (Russian) —

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia supports a trilateral meeting at the level of delegations, with dates still being coordinated. Zelensky said the support was confirmed following US special envoy Steve Witkoff's visit to Russia. The American side proposes holding the meeting as soon as possible, with the agenda focused on ending the war and preparing for a leaders' summit. Zelensky expects the meeting to occur no later than early November. Witkoff previously met with Zelensky in Oslo and with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, where he called Putin a "humanist."
