Russia strikes Kyiv with 21 missiles after peace talks, killing 2

pravda.com.ua (Russian) —

Russia launched 21 missiles at Kyiv following talks about peace negotiations, killing at least 2 people and wounding 34 others, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The attack occurred in three waves of ballistic strikes, damaging residential buildings, energy infrastructure, a railway station, metro, shopping centers, enterprises, and a monastery. Twelve regions across Ukraine came under fire, with five children among the wounded. Zelensky called the strike demonstrative, saying Russia showed no real change in attitude after negotiations. He urged genuine pressure on Russia, noting that ballistic missiles were its response to peace talks.
