US envoy to bring Ukraine peace proposals to Saint Petersburg
US envoy Witkoff will travel to Saint Petersburg tomorrow with proposals to end the war in Ukraine, announced Norwegian Prime Minister Store after a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky in Oslo. The proposals include a potential meeting between Trump, Putin, and Zelensky. Zelensky was assisted by Store and Finnish President Stubb during the talks, which Store described as "good and constructive." Zelensky stressed Ukraine must be at the table for discussions about its future, while Store added Europe should also be included for lasting peace. Earlier today, Zelensky spoke with US Secretary of State Rubio, addressing Ukraine's complaint that Washington had stopped warning about incoming Russian ballistic missiles. Zelensky confirmed the issue is resolved, though other concerns remain, including limited military Starlink use and delayed air defense deliveries.
