Kyiv Explodes Under Ballistic Attack After Air Force Warning

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the evening of October 21 following air force warnings of a ballistic missile threat. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the attack and urged residents to take shelter. The Ukrainian Air Force had warned of multiple ballistic targets heading toward the capital. Klitschko stated: "Explosions in the capital. Kyiv is under ballistic attack. Stay in shelters!" Ukrainian Pravda correspondents reported the blasts. The attack came as President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia supports a trilateral meeting at the command level, with dates still being negotiated. This follows envoy Steve Witkoff's talks with both leaders, during which he called Putin a "humanist."
