Zelensky welcomes US resuming strike warnings for Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the resumption of US intelligence sharing on imminent Russian strikes, calling it vital for civilian safety, while insisting Ukraine must be included in any future negotiations about its fate. Zelensky confirmed "substantive" talks with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Oslo, and said the Starshield military satellite system connection could be restored within 48 hours. He also stressed that ballistic missile interceptors are needed to protect lives, amid strained relations with Washington. US President Donald Trump said he wants Zelensky to "make a deal" with Russia and is considering a trilateral meeting with Putin and Xi Jinping in China. Zelensky warned Ukraine is "losing people and time," while Witkoff is expected to travel to Russia to brief Putin on the proposals.
