Russian strike on Kyiv hospital hits operating room, one injured

A Russian attack on a Kyiv hospital destroyed an operating room and injured one person, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky. The strike targeted the Strajesko Institute, part of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Koretsky stated the facility had already been hit last year, and photos show a hospital bed under rubble with debris scattered across the floor. He condemned the attack, noting the institute treats cardiac patients from across Ukraine. Since last summer, Kyiv has faced continuous attacks on energy, logistics, and transport infrastructure, as well as bridges, warehouses, supermarkets, schools, and residential buildings.
