Putin Meets US Envoys Warmly; Zelensky Open to Ceasefire With Guarantees

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Fox News he is open to a ceasefire along the current front line, provided the US and EU offer binding guarantees that Russia will not attack again. This marks a notable shift amid intense diplomatic activity. The meeting between Vladimir Putin and American envoys was described as warm, with Moscow signaling readiness to continue US-Russia-Ukraine talks in November. Trump's pressure on Zelensky appears to be yielding results, while Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said the conflict is "nearing its end." It remains unclear whether Putin will accept a freeze on current positions without further Ukrainian concessions. Separately, reports mention 40,000 tons of diesel being shipped to the US.
