Ukraine launches 600-drone attack on Moscow, two injured

rtl.be (French) —

Ukraine launched a massive overnight attack on Moscow, with over 600 drones sent toward the Russian capital, according to Moscow's mayor. Two people were injured in the assault. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 630 drones were launched toward the Moscow region between 8:30 p.m. and 4 a.m., with most destroyed by air defense systems. He noted 163 drones approached Moscow, and two people were wounded. The attack came hours after Russian-American talks aimed at ending the war, and shortly after Donald Trump claimed Wednesday evening that a ceasefire or end to hostilities had never been closer.
