Zelensky and Witkoff begin talks in Oslo with Nordic leaders

rbc.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff have begun talks in Oslo amid a crisis in Ukraine-US relations. Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre are also participating in the negotiations. The meeting follows a previous Ukraine-US session that ended early after Washington struck a diesel deal with Moscow while the Ukrainian delegation was in Miami. Zelensky harshly criticized President Donald Trump's decision, saying the Ukrainian delegation was used as a cover. Trump has since regularly criticized Zelensky, claiming Putin is easier to deal with, and suggested Ukraine's negotiations should not be led by Zelensky. Washington may also be delaying Patriot missile deliveries and restricting Starlink operations in Ukraine.
