Possible Russia-US-Ukraine talks in Abu Dhabi in November
Negotiations between Russia, the US, and Ukraine on settling the conflict may take place in Abu Dhabi in November, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who confirmed the venue is currently under consideration. Peskov declined to provide details on documents or proposals for the upcoming round, saying such questions were premature. Russian President Vladimir Putin previously informed US envoy Steve Witkoff of Moscow's readiness to resume trilateral talks in early November, and Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov also confirmed the possible Abu Dhabi meeting. US President Donald Trump stated the two countries are closer to resolving the war in Ukraine than ever before. Media reports suggest Trump aims for Ukrainian and Russian leaders to sign a peace agreement at the G20 summit in Miami in December, with talks potentially occurring under pressure from Kyiv.
