Ukraine denies Starlink restored; Zelensky warns fewer Patriots mean more Russian missiles

corriere.it (Italian) —

Ukraine has denied reports that Elon Musk and President Donald Trump restored full Starlink service speeds in Ukraine, which are critical for Kyiv's military operations against Russia. A Ukrainian official said "nothing has changed" and the 161 km/h speed limit remains in effect. The denial contradicts a Wall Street Journal report claiming Starlink functionality returned to normal after a phone call between Musk and Trump. Trump told reporters at the White House that Musk had "restored" all functions, adding that his relationship with the tech entrepreneur is "very good." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that reduced Patriot interceptor missile supplies from the US will lead to increased Russian ballistic attacks. He also confirmed receiving US indications that Russia is open to trilateral talks in November involving the US, Ukraine, and Russia.
