Ukraine's Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi ordered executive authorities to urgently form cybersecurity teams and deploy software, citing systematic Russian attacks on digital infrastructure. Koretskyi said Russia damaged about ten data centers in Kyiv in September alone, with attacks intensifying and increasingly using artificial intelligence. He demanded all state institutions match the readiness of key digital agencies in repelling AI-assisted attacks. Recent strikes destroyed a GigaCenter data center on October 20 and fully destroyed a Datagroup facility on October 19. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia aims to leave Ukrainians without internet and communications.
