23 US Lawmakers Urge Trump to Restore Ukraine's Starlink Access
A bipartisan group of 23 US House members has urged President Donald Trump to ask Elon Musk to grant Ukraine access to Starlink satellite services to track Russian missile launchers. The letter includes seven Republicans and 16 Democrats. The lawmakers argue that a single phone call could save lives and pressure Putin to negotiate, stating Ukraine needs to target the "archer" if it cannot intercept Russian missiles. The letter supports a Senate lobbying campaign led by Republican Senator Roger Wicker, who recently visited Ukraine. The appeal follows reported Starlink and Starshield disruptions that have hindered Ukrainian air defense operations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also pressed for more US help in destroying Russian launchers, while the Trump administration has given inconsistent responses on the matter.
