Kyiv hears Russia's 'humanism' in massive ballistic attack, says Ukraine's foreign minister

nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned Russia's massive overnight ballistic missile attack on Ukraine, stating Kyiv residents heard what Russian "humanism" truly sounds like. The attack targeted energy infrastructure, medical facilities, shopping centers, and residential areas. The strike on the night of October 22 hit Kyiv in six districts, killing one person and injuring at least 22 others. A hypermarket was significantly damaged, and traffic across the Southern Bridge was restricted. Other Ukrainian cities also came under attack. Sybiha asserted that appeasement and flattery will not stop the war, only strength will bring peace. The comments follow US envoy Steve Witkoff calling Putin a "humanist" after American Stephen Hubbard's release.
