Drone strike on occupied Luhansk knocks out communications

rbc.ua (Ukrainian) —

Occupied Luhansk was hit by a massive drone attack on the night of October 23, likely targeting communication facilities, leaving parts of the city without connectivity and experiencing power outages. Explosions were heard around 4 a.m., followed by communication and electricity disruptions. Videos show a strike near a communication tower, and some areas completely lost connection. No official casualty reports have been released yet. Luhansk has been under Russian occupation since 2014. This follows recent strikes on October 21 against a telecom operator building and a telecommunications center, and an October 20 attack on a data center in occupied Donetsk.
