Sybiha: Russian 'humanism' sounds like missile strikes on Kyiv
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha condemned Russia's overnight missile strike on Kyiv, contrasting it with US envoy Steve Witkoff's recent description of Vladimir Putin as a "humanist." Sybiha said the attack shows what Russian "humanism" sounds like. The strike involved dozens of ballistic missiles targeting energy infrastructure, medical facilities, shopping centers, and residential areas in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. Sybiha stated that appeasement and flattery will not stop the war, only force will. Witkoff had called Putin a "humanist" during a Wednesday meeting in St. Petersburg, despite the International Criminal Court seeking Putin for war crimes. The attack killed one person and injured 22, including four children.
