China prepares Russia-US-China leaders' meeting in Shenzhen

China is preparing a meeting of the leaders of Russia, the US, and China, and may include it in the APEC summit program in Shenzhen if circumstances are favorable, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov. Ushakov stated that Chinese hosts are already working on the meeting's preparation and would fit it into the Shenzhen event schedule under favorable conditions. He spoke after Putin's talks with Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, noting that Russia had offered some practical considerations. The possibility of a Russia-US-China summit in Shenzhen was discussed during the Putin-Witkoff meeting, and none of the three capitals has rejected the idea, Ushakov said.
