Russian air defense downs 1,226 Ukrainian drones in a day

Russian air defense forces destroyed 1,226 Ukrainian drones over the past day, all of fixed-wing type, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. A fire broke out at an enterprise in Michurinsky district, Tambov Oblast, following a drone attack, with no casualties reported. Four drones were shot down over the region overnight and in the morning, three by mobile fire groups of the "BARS-Tambov" detachment. Separately, Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod Oblast wounded four civilians. In Shebekino, a drone struck a parking lot, injuring two men with shrapnel and damaging a car, while two others were wounded on the Belgorod–Shebekino highway.
