China's envoy warns US against crossing red lines ahead of summit

He specifically cautioned against US arms sales to Taiwan, stating that sincerity is key to managing differences and that red lines on Taiwan and human rights cannot be crossed. Reuters reported on September 22 that President Xi Jinping is expected to press President Trump to halt arms sales to Taiwan during the summit, where Taiwan will be a major topic of discussion.
