Russian Strike Damages DTEK Energy Facility in Kyiv Region, Power Restoration Delayed
A Russian strike on November 7 damaged a DTEK energy facility in the Kyiv region, leaving part of the Brovary district without power. Restoration will take time due to significant damage. The company reported that repair work is complicated by constant air raid alerts and the threat of repeated attacks, preventing crews from working continuously. Despite this, specialists are making every effort to restore electricity to residents' homes. Emergency power outages were also introduced in Kyiv on November 7, with disruptions to heating and water supply. Chernihiv was left fully without electricity, affecting about 150,000 subscribers, and a person was injured in an attack on Vinnytsia region infrastructure.
