Russia strikes Kyiv and other regions, injuring six
Russia launched a large-scale attack on military, industrial, and energy targets in Kyiv and other Ukrainian regions on Saturday, leaving at least six people injured, including a child. The strikes caused material damage across several Kyiv districts. Kyiv's mayor and emergency services confirmed the injuries, with damage reported in the Solomianskyi, Darnitskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts, affecting residential buildings, a daycare, and a private house. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed it hit transport facilities, weapons factories, the North Bridge, and the Meridian missile plant. The offensive also targeted Ukraine's power grid and a vessel in the Black Sea, with Russia asserting it damaged a power plant, electrical substations, and a cargo ship carrying military material.
