Russian ballistic attack on Kyiv injures two, damages homes in Solomianskyi district
Russia launched a massive ballistic missile attack on Kyiv overnight into Saturday, November 7, with debris striking a residential building in the Solomianskyi district, injuring at least two people. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported the injuries and damage, including a fire in a non-residential building and damage to a kindergarten in the same district. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed debris hit a five-story apartment building and that blast waves damaged windows in another building. Monitoring channels reported over 20 missiles fired at Kyiv and the region, with at least six ballistic missiles launched late in the evening. President Volodymyr Zelensky said on November 6 that intelligence had warned of a new massive attack targeting energy infrastructure, bridges over the Dnipro River, and civilian facilities.
