nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure caused new power outages in seven regions, with the most difficult situation reported in Kyiv, according to the Energy Ministry on Friday, November 6. The ministry said Russia continues attacks using repeated-strike tactics, causing significant damage. New outages occurred in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions. Repair work is underway where security allows, though air raid alerts complicate efforts. Most regions have hourly power outage schedules, with industry facing capacity limits. On November 3, Ukrenergo reported one of the largest Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy system, with over 20 targeted strikes in a day. Kyiv temporarily lost water supply, which was fully restored by November 4. Emergency outages were introduced in parts of Kyiv on November 5, causing renewed water disruptions.
