Russia plans new strikes on energy, bridges, and civilian sites, Zelensky warns
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday, November 6, that intelligence warns of a new massive Russian strike targeting energy infrastructure, bridges over the Dnipro River, and civilian facilities. Zelensky stated that air forces and the military are preparing defenses but face challenges. He urgently requested Patriot interceptor missiles from partners, especially the United States, emphasizing that every agreement and day of delivery is critical and should not be postponed. The warning follows a major Russian attack on November 3 involving ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, which hit energy facilities in nine regions and forced DTEK to halt generation at three thermal plants. Air defenses intercepted 309 targets.
