Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv injures three, including a child
On the night of November 7, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles, injuring three people, including a child, and damaging a five-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district. The first explosions occurred around 10:55 p.m. on November 6, followed by a second wave at approximately 1:10 a.m. targeting infrastructure in the city's suburbs. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that missile debris struck the residential building, while another five-story structure had its windows damaged by the blast wave. The State Emergency Service confirmed fires, destruction of homes, a kindergarten, and a non-residential building, with one building's first-floor facade partially destroyed. Three people were injured across two locations, including a child. The attack also caused a parked truck and a non-residential building to catch fire. No deaths were reported. This follows a separate Russian attack on bridges in Zaporizhzhia on the evening of November 6.
