Kyiv's Pivnichnyi Bridge Reopens After Russian Strike Repairs

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

A Russian missile attack on Kyiv damaged the Pivnichnyi (Northern) Bridge, forcing its closure to traffic in both directions. Repair crews are now working at the site of the strike. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the bridge's roadway, trolleybus contact network, and power lines were damaged. The blast also affected five trucks in a nearby parking lot, and several missiles hit the city. The overnight attack left five people injured and caused severe energy supply issues, disrupting heating and water systems. The bridge, which connects the city's right and left banks, carries multiple trolleybus and bus routes.
