Russian strike on Sumy injures three in residential area attack
Russian forces struck the Sumy community with six guided aerial bombs on the evening of Friday, November 6, causing injuries to three people, including one woman with severe wounds. The attack targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure across four locations. Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov confirmed the casualties and stated that medics are providing necessary assistance to all victims. Emergency services are currently surveying the damaged areas and working to eliminate the consequences of the attack, with the full extent of destruction still being assessed. This attack follows a previous drone strike on Sumy's Zarichnyi district on October 31, which hit a non-residential building and a car wash, causing fires but no casualties.
