Ukraine launched a massive overnight drone attack on Russia involving over 400 drones, causing fires at a Rosneft refinery in Saratov and the Proton military components plant in Oryol. Russian air defense systems intercepted 411 drones across multiple regions. The Proton-Elektroteks plant in Oryol, which produces military equipment components, was hit, with Governor Andrei Klychkov confirming damage to production halls. In Saratov, Governor Roman Busargin reported damage to civilian infrastructure, with the Astra portal identifying the target as the Rosneft refinery. The Saratov refinery accounts for 2.2 percent of Russia's oil processing capacity and has been repeatedly targeted. The Oryol plant was previously struck on October 23, when a fire killed five people and injured 19 others.
