Russia sends higher-level delegation to Ukraine talks in Abu Dhabi
Russia will send a higher-level delegation to negotiations with Ukraine in Abu Dhabi than in previous rounds, according to Bloomberg, signaling Moscow's possible readiness for more substantive talks. The delegation will be led by Vladimir Medinsky and include Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergei Ryabkov and Mikhail Galuzin, military intelligence chief Igor Kostyukov, and senior General Staff officer Yuri Zhigarlovsky. The talks are scheduled for November 10-11, marking the first such meeting since February. Ukraine's team is reportedly seeking to shift the focus from Moscow's territorial demands to future security arrangements for Ukraine and Europe, with Kyiv ruling out territorial concessions. The meeting follows recent reports that the Kremlin has lost confidence in President Donald Trump's ability to force Ukraine into accepting Russian terms.
