Ukraine to impose power outage schedules on Saturday after Russian strikes

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukraine will impose power outage schedules across parts of the country on Saturday, November 7, due to the aftermath of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, according to national grid operator Ukrenergo. Restrictions will apply from 00:00 to 23:59 for both industry and all consumer categories, with hourly blackout schedules affecting between two and four outage groups. The measure stems from damage caused by Russian missile and drone strikes. Consumers are divided into six groups per region, with four groups meaning restrictions for up to 70% of users and over 12 hours of outages daily. President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated the energy situation is worst in Kyiv.
