Russian Strike on Kyiv Injures Six, Damages Bridge and Power Grid
At least six people were injured in Kyiv during a Russian attack overnight, with damage reported to the city's Northern Bridge and energy infrastructure. Two of the injured were hospitalized. Kyiv's mayor reported an extremely difficult energy supply situation, causing problems with heating and water systems. The Northern Bridge is one of six road bridges connecting the city's banks, and the attack also damaged energy infrastructure in the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. President Zelensky had warned of new Russian strikes on energy and civilian infrastructure, urging partners to supply Patriot air defense systems. He also stated that operations against Russian oil refineries continue in response to the attacks.
