Russian strikes damage Kyiv bridge and energy infrastructure

lalibre.be (French) —

Russian strikes damaged a key road bridge and energy infrastructure in Kyiv and its region on Saturday, disrupting supplies to the capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said, with at least five people wounded. Klitschko described the capital's energy situation as "extremely difficult," affecting heating and water systems. The North Bridge over the Dnieper River was hit, blocking traffic, and a kindergarten building was destroyed. President Volodymyr Zelensky had warned Friday of an impending Russian strike on civilian infrastructure. The bridge was previously attacked in October, prompting anti-drone netting. Trilateral talks between Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow are scheduled for November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi.
