Zelenskyy calls Trump's peace plan dangerous
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called US President Donald Trump's proposal for a new European security order "not simple" and "dangerous," according to a CNN interview. Zelenskyy stressed that discussions on ending the war must come first, followed by security guarantees for Ukraine, before any broader European security architecture can be considered. He stated Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire but sees no signals of concession from Moscow. The comments come ahead of trilateral peace talks scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, involving Russian, Ukrainian, and US delegations. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius also expressed skepticism about the talks, saying Trump's approach offers little hope for a quick ceasefire.
