ansa.it (Italian) —

Russian ballistic missile waves struck Kyiv overnight, damaging energy infrastructure and a key bridge, leaving the capital's power supply in an extremely difficult situation. At least five people were injured, including a 14-year-old girl. The attack came hours after President Zelensky warned of a large-scale Russian strike on infrastructure. Kyiv's Northern Bridge was damaged and closed to traffic, while energy facilities in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions were also hit, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. In response, Ukraine launched drone attacks on Russian regions including Oryol, Saratov, and Rostov, hitting an oil refinery and a military factory. Fires broke out at several sites, with multiple injuries reported.
