Ukraine's energy operator plans long power outages in several regions on Sunday

pravda.com.ua (Russian) —

Ukraine's national energy operator Ukrenergo announced that on Sunday, November 8, power outages will be introduced in some regions, affecting all consumer categories with restrictions of up to four queues, meaning more than 12 hours per day. The restrictions will apply from 00:00 to 23:59, including power limitation schedules for industry and hourly outage schedules for all consumer categories, with volumes ranging from 1.5 to 4 queues. Consumers not on the critical infrastructure list are divided into six queues per region. Applying up to three queues means half of consumers in each region face hourly outages, while four queues restrict up to 70% of consumers. One queue equals 4 hours of daily restrictions, two queues 8 hours, three queues 12 hours, and four queues more than 12 hours.
