Kyiv missile strike leaves crater, damages homes and kindergarten

news.obozrevatel.com (Ukrainian) —

A Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv early on November 7 damaged a five-story residential building and a kindergarten in the Solomianskyi district, leaving a crater filled with boiling water from ruptured pipes. Emergency services are working at the scene. The missile landed directly next to the building, destroying a first-floor apartment and damaging upper floors. A nearby car was almost completely buried by earth, and buildings on the kindergarten grounds were also hit by the blast wave. The attack followed a series of ballistic missile strikes on the capital on the evening of November 6. President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia is preparing further strikes on energy infrastructure, Dnipro bridges, and civilian facilities.
