Ukrainian drones strike Ufa refinery, fire hits catalytic unit

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Drones attacked an oil refinery in Ufa, Russia, on the night of October 31, causing a fire at the Bashneft-Novoyl plant, reportedly at a catalytic reforming unit. The attack occurred in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The fire is believed to be at the L-35 catalytic reforming unit, a key facility for producing high-octane gasoline components and hydrogen. Monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported three fire sources, possibly at two refineries, though independent confirmation is pending. This follows a drone attack on a refinery in Novokuibyshevsk, Samara Oblast. Earlier this month, US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner reportedly threatened to halt intelligence sharing with Ukraine over strikes on Russian refineries.
