Aeroflot cancels and reschedules flights as Moscow restricts airspace

dp.ru (Russian) —

Aeroflot has cancelled and rescheduled flights due to airspace restrictions over Moscow on October 31, following temporary limits at Sheremetyevo Airport. Passengers on cancelled flights are urged not to come to the airport. Some flights have been diverted to alternate airfields and will operate after restrictions are lifted. Further delays are possible due to mandatory crew rest requirements. Ticket rebooking and refunds are available online. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported the downing of drones targeting the city. The restrictions were introduced for flight safety, following a major drone attack on the Moscow region from October 29-30 involving 862 UAVs.
