news.liga.net (Ukrainian) —

Demining of routes for a humanitarian mission in occupied Oleshky, Kherson region, has been completed, and a convoy with aid is ready to depart. Evacuation of willing residents is planned by 14:00, with aid distribution to begin after 14:30 on October 30. The convoy will arrive at Oleshky's central hospital to organize assistance for civilians, according to Ukraine's ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets. The mission is conducted jointly with Russia's human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova, mediated by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump, with delegations from Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. coordinating next steps. Oleshky has been under Russian occupation since 2022, with a sharply deteriorating humanitarian situation in 2026, including no food deliveries since May 26. A local ceasefire, effective October 27 through November 1, was agreed upon on October 23 to enable the aid delivery and evacuations.
