Satellite images confirm the destruction of two Su-34 fighter-bombers at Marinovka airfield in Russia's Volgograd Oblast following a Ukrainian strike on October 29. The OSINT project AviVector published the imagery on October 30. The Ukrainian Navy struck the airfield with a long-range Neptune missile, destroying the aircraft belonging to the 11th Aviation Regiment. Russian sources reported two military personnel killed and two wounded, with analysts noting this was likely the deepest Neptune-D strike, launched from over 600 kilometers away. A similar Ukrainian strike on October 15 hit Borisoglebsk airfield in Voronezh Oblast, destroying six Su-34s and preventing further Russian attacks using those aircraft.
