Dnipro metro partially restores power after Russian strikes

nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Metro power in Dnipro was partially restored on October 30 following Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, with trains running on a weekend schedule at 16-minute intervals. The city council published alternative bus routes as backup. The strikes on October 29 killed 15 people when a drone hit the railway station platform, leaving parts of the city without power. Officials reported the city was blacked out as the damaged energy system couldn't handle the load. Water systems now run on generators, and repair crews are working continuously after a second overnight attack on the station.
