Drone attack shuts all four Moscow airports

nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

All four Moscow airports were temporarily closed on the evening of October 29 and night of October 30 due to a drone attack, with restrictions also imposed at Yaroslavl's airport. Russia's aviation authority Rosaviatsia and the Telegram channel Astra reported the restrictions at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo airports. Some flights were diverted to other airports, and Flightradar24 data showed no passenger aircraft over Moscow, only a VIP jet from the special flight detachment "Russia." Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 38 drones were allegedly shot down starting at 10:00 PM local time.
