Russia strikes Dnipropetrovsk energy grid again, 200,000 households without power

unian.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russia launched a second overnight strike on energy infrastructure in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, severely damaging equipment and leaving over 200,000 households without power. The attack hit two DTEK grid facilities, including one that crews had spent nearly two days repairing. Outages affect large parts of Dnipro, Kamianske, and the Dniprovskyi and Novomoskovskyi districts, with regional governor Oleksandr Hanza warning the grid remains unstable and vulnerable to overloads. The strikes complicate restoration efforts and follow an October 29 attack that left more than 350,000 subscribers without electricity in the same area.
