Ukraine prepares 25 buses to evacuate residents from occupied Oleshky in Kherson region
Ukraine has prepared 25 buses with 750 seats for a potential evacuation of residents from occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region, alongside ambulances for people with limited mobility. Ukrainian and Russian delegations are currently in Armyansk coordinating the humanitarian mission, with journalists from three countries invited to cover the operation. The Ukrainian parliament's human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinets said preparations are complete, with special attention to elderly and disabled residents. Evacuation will be voluntary, and those choosing to stay will receive humanitarian aid. The mission follows demining of routes completed on October 29, with delegations from Ukraine, the US, and Russia planning to deliver aid to Oleshky on October 30.
