Kyiv faces water supply disruptions after Russian drone strike
A Russian drone strike on Kyiv on the evening of October 30 caused power outages at critical infrastructure sites, leading to reduced water pressure and disruptions in the city's water supply. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that drones hit a critical infrastructure facility three times. While power workers are working to restore electricity, water is being supplied with reduced pressure in some districts and is completely absent in others, including the left bank and several right-bank areas. The attack occurred amid a broader Russian assault that night involving ballistic missiles, guided aviation missiles, and 113 strike drones targeting Kyiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Emergency repair work is ongoing.
