Moscow airports shut down after drone attack

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

All Moscow airports were temporarily closed on the evening of October 29-30 due to a drone attack, halting arrivals and departures at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo, with some flights diverted. Russia's aviation agency Rosaviatsia imposed the restrictions, and an airport in Yaroslavl was also shut. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported 38 drones allegedly shot down starting at 10:00 PM Moscow time. The previous night, authorities reported an attack involving over 600 drones on Moscow and the surrounding region. Flight tracking data showed no aircraft over Moscow except a VIP plane from the special flight detachment "Russia" based at Vnukovo.
