Evacuated residents of Oleshky travel to Ukraine via Russia and Belarus

rfi.fr (Ukrainian) —

Evacuated residents of Oleshky are heading to Ukrainian-controlled territory via Russia and Belarus, as the humanitarian mission in the temporarily occupied town enters its final stage. A Ukrainian delegation led by Dmytro Lubinets is accompanying them. The mission delivered food, medicine, hygiene supplies, and generator fuel to Oleshky. Seventeen buses went to Ukraine, while four went to Russia. Local residents' willingness to evacuate grew after learning Ukrainian representatives were arriving, as they feared Russian filtration procedures. Residents of neighboring villages could not use this evacuation opportunity due to mined roads. Lubinets proposed making such missions regular under the coordination of Melania Trump, who stated resources were planned for evacuating over 750 people.
